Please note, the options are:

1) c = 0, x = -b/a satisfies the polynomial equation

(2) c ≠ 0, x = -a/b satisfies the polynomial equation

(3) x = -b/a satisfies the polynomial equation.

(4) Polynomial has equal roots.
