Rise in 1st year = 20000 + 10% of 20000 = 20000 x 1.1 = 22000 In 2nd year = 22000 x 1.1 = 24200 In 3rd year = 24200 x 1.1 = 26620.

Just use the formula 20000 ( 1.1 ) 3 20 000\cdot(1.1)^3 .
