Positronium ion

A positronium ion consist of a positron at the centre with an electron revolving round it.If the radius of hydrogen atom is r and positronium ion radius is R.Determine R/r.

Note : A positron has the same charge as a proton, but the same mass as an electron.

The answer is 2.

The bohr radius of hydrogen atom depends on 1/m.Use reduced mass technique for positronium ion you will get R=2r.( reduced mass will be m/2)....
