Hint: Notice that 87 + 13 = 100 , 55 + 45 = 100 87 +13 = 100, 55 + 45 = 100 .


The answer is 97.

Note that 1 3 87 13^{87} is 97 digits long, as can be calculated from 87 l o g ( 13 ) \lceil87*log(13)\rceil . This is larger than any of the other addends, by several orders of magnitude. So, you can effectively ignore the other terms, and the 1 3 87 13^{87} term dominates, making the whole number 97 digits long.
