Pressure on syringe

Find the approximate pressure increase in the fluid in a syringe when a nurse applies a force of 42 N 42 \text{ N} to the syringe's circular piston with radius 1.1 cm. 1.1 \text{ cm.}

1.1 × 1 0 4 Pa 1.1 \times 10^4 \text{ Pa} 1.6 × 1 0 4 Pa 1.6 \times 10^4 \text{ Pa} 1.6 × 1 0 5 Pa 1.6 \times 10^5 \text{ Pa} 1.1 × 1 0 5 Pa 1.1 \times 10^5 \text{ Pa}

Pressure= f o r c e a r e a \frac{force}{area}

Hence P = 42 3.14 × 1. 1 2 × 1 0 4 \frac{42}{3.14\times1.1^{2}\times10^{-4}}

Therefore P = 1.1 × 1 0 5 1.1\times10^{5}
