Suppose you have an ice cream parlor that serves about x x customers each day. You have 1 supplier. You get 2400 bowls from the supplier in July. If July has 30 days, about how many customers come in each day?

If you write the equation, it would look like x =2400/30/1. First, you simplify the problem to 240/3, then you solve it. 240 divided by 3 equals 80. About 80 customers would come in your parlor each day.

But since some months have 31 days, the number would be lower than 80.

Can you help rephrase the question to remove that ambiguity? Maybe select a month that has exactly 30 days.
