The number of edges in a prism is equal to 3n if the base is a n-sided polygon.

There are two identical faces and equal number of lines (edges) connecting these two identical faces. So, number of edges = 2n(bases) + n (connecting lines).

So, if a polygonal prism has 2010 edges, the order(n) of the base of the prism will be 2010/3 = 670.

Also dont forget the identical bases(2).

So, number of faces of the prism = 670 + 2 = 672.
