The product of a set of consecutive integers is 720. If the mean is 3.5, what is the sum of the integers?

Since mean is 3.5, the two middle terms are 3 and 4, and these are even numbers. four numbers would be 2,3,4,5. But there product is less than 720. So we try six terms. 1,2,3,4,5,6 and this is 6!=720.
So the total is 3.5 * 6= 21, 21 ~ \\ \boxed{21}

Observe that 720 = 1 × 2 × × 4 × 5 × 6 = 6 ! 720=1\times2\times\times4\times5\times6=6! So sum is 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 = 21 1+2+3+4+5+6=\boxed{21}
