there are many ways to do that.

1. 5 × 4 + 2 12 = 10 5 \times 4+2-12=10

2. 12 4 + 5 + 2 = 10 \frac{12}{4}+5+2=10

3. 12 × 5 4 + 2 = 10 \frac{12 \times 5}{4+2}=10

4. ( 5 4 ) × ( 12 2 ) = 10 (5-4) \times (12-2)=10 .

5 × 4 + 2 12 = 10 5\times 4 +2-12=10

One option is 12 ÷ 4 + 5 + 2 = 10 12 \div 4 + 5 + 2 = 10 . Another is ( 12 2 ) × ( 5 4 ) = 10 (12 - 2) \times (5 - 4) = 10 .

12 5 4 + 2 = 60 6 = 10 \displaystyle \frac{12 \cdot 5}{4+2} = \frac{60}{6} = \boxed {10}

or

12 4 + 5 + 2 = 3 + 5 + 2 = 10 \displaystyle \frac{12}{4} + 5 + 2 = 3 + 5 + 2 = \boxed{10}
