Suppose you have a string of aluminum with length 58 cm,and wish to fold it into a rectangle. What should the length be if the area of the rectangle is 120 square cm?

b×h =120. 2(b+h) =58. h = 29-b. b^2-29b+120. Solving the equation we get two roots as 24 and 5. Therefore length = 24
