The sum of the first three terms is 63. So, 74-63=11. Notice that the second term is obtained by detracting 5 from the foremost term specified. Since 11 more is needed to come up with a total of 74 and since 16-5=11, there are four terms that have got to be taken to amount to 74 (26, 21, 16, and 11).
