as time taken in complete projectile =2usin(a)/g where u=initial velocity a is the angle with which ball is projected. g=acceleration due to gravity=9.8m/s therefore, time taken=(2 40sin30)/10 =4sec as followers increase at the rate of 2 per sec.... number of followers in 4 sec =4 2=8
