Projectile Boat!

A ball is thrown at initial velocity 5 at an angle 15 degree from horizontal and at the same time a boat of velocity 5 at angle 165 degree from the direction opposite to river acceleration is placed in a small river of velocity 0 and acceleration g = 9.8 m/s 2 g=9.8\text{ m/s}^2 . Time taken by projectile to fall down is t 1 t_1 and boat to cross river is t 2 t_2 . Width of river is 1.0 m 1.0\text{ m} .

t 1 = t 2 t_1=t_2 t 1 > t 2 t_1>t_2 Can't be determined t 1 < t 2 t_1<t_2

They both can be considered as same projectile as a is at 15 degree to the velocity and equal to g, v is also same.
Therefore time taken will be more in ground as range is more as range of boat is 1.0 m and that of ground is 25/19.6=1.27 m.
