Projectile motion of charged particle 3

The above shows the moving path of a charged particle with quantity of electric charge Q , Q, along the three points A A , B B and C C on a parabola. The blue dotted lines are isoelectric lines, and the electric potential of the points A A , B B and C C are 2 2 V, 4 4 V and 0 0 V, respectively. Which of the following statements is correct? (The force acting on the charged particle is electric force only, and ignore the generaion of electromagnetic waves.)

a) The charged particle has a positive charge.

b) The acceleration of the charged particle at point B B is zero.

c) The work done by the electric force on the charged particle when it moves from point A A to point C C is 6 6 Q.

c) only b) only a), b) and c) a) only

Certainly, the nature of charge is +ve as it is moved towards the direction of field.

so easy......acceleration cant be zero.....

b and c cant be.As change in U=2Q.Accelaration if 0 then charge wouldnt change direction.

It cannot be c) as electric force is conservative, and it doesn't depen on the path but on the start and end points. We can easily see that Δ V = 2 V Δ U = 2 Q \Delta V=2V \Longrightarrow \Delta U=2Q

yeah correct
