C C (24 teeth) rotates 4 4 revolutions. Therefore, D D also rotates 4 4 revolutions. Pulley B B has twice the circumference of pulley D D and so it will rotate 2 2 revolutions. C C rotates clockwise as B B does not change the direction of C C . Pulleys D D and E E also rotates clockwise.
