Pure Water

Chemistry Level 3

For pure water at 25 degree celcius , the correct options are

A. [ H X 2 O ] \ce{[H2O]} = 55.56 mol d m 3 \text{ mol } {dm}^{-3} if density of water is 1 g c m 3 \text{ g} {cm}^{-3}

B. K w {K}_{w} = 10 14 ( mol d m 3 ) 2 {10}^{-14} {(\text{ mol } {dm}^{-3})}^{2}

C. Degree of dissociation = 1.8 × \times 10 9 {10}^{-9}

D. Ionisation constant , K i o n i s a t i o n {K}_{ionisation} = 1.8 × \times 10 16 {10}^{-16} .

Hmmm nice question. All the options is correct. Its a kind of Ionic Equlibrium and Concentration GK question.

  • [ H 2 O ] = 55.56 M [H_{2}O]=55.56 M

  • K w = 1 0 14 K_{w}=10^{-14} [Everyone doing Ionic SHOULD KNOW THIS]

Why am i writing? All are G K **GK** ..
