You are at a place on earth.

From there you start walking towards north (say x- km). Then you rest. Suddenly a bear starts running before you. So you run in east direction. After some distance (again x- km) the beer stops running before you. Now you start walking in south direction and again covers x-km. After this you came to the same place from where you started your journey.

So what is the color of the B E A R \boxed{BEAR} ??

If you walk north, then east, then south, and finish where you started, and north and south are parallel, then you must have gone in a circle when travelling east. This reminded me of the north pole area, where there are polar bears of white colour.

However, since the whole globe have the same effect, I wondered if the bear could possible be brown or black (brown and black bears live at lower lattitudes), but then since you travel the same distance north and east, it wouldn't be possible (I think) to travel such a large circle on the surface of the earth and then travel south again without passing the south pole. This is because you travel x km north and x km east.

Also, it wouldn't be reasonable to walk such a long distance in the first place, and the bear wouldn't chase you for such a long distance either.

Hence the circle travelled eastwards must be small, and hence that would be very north, where there are polar bears.
