a tree 'x' metres tall stands straight on the ground...a certain point 'A' is 23 metres away from the top of this tree and 15 metres away from its base....a certain day, the tree is uprooted by a storm and it falls flat on the ground such that now the distance between the tree top and the same point 'A' becomes 17 metres but the distance between the tree base and 'A' is still 15metres. can you tell the value of 'x' (the height of this tree) in metres??

picture the point 'A' vertically below the tree (underground) and then things uncomplicate ;)
