Pythagoras to the rescue
In the diagram (which is not to scale), BC= 5cm and <BCA =90. A circle is inscribed in the triangle. The circle touches the three sides of the triangle and is of radius 2cm. Find the lengths of AB and AC. Express answer as sum of the two lengths.
The answer is 25.
