In fact, the D option is also right, as the product of the square to a negative number (-6x-6=36) is the same as the product of the same positive number (6x6=36).

This is a very easy question. It's based on the formulae "a^2+b^2=c^2". In this case "b^2=c^2-a^2", which is 100-64=36=c^2, c=6
