Pythogorean Triplet

Geometry Level pending

Which of these set of three numbers (a,b,c) is not a Pythagorean triplet. You can assume that c is the hypotenuse and a , b are the two sides of a right triangle.

(3,4,5); (1,1,1.4142); (12,5,13) (2,3,3)

Pythogorean triplets must satisfy the condition that a a + b b = c*c where c is the hypotenuse and a, b are the other two sides of a right triangle. So it is very clear that (2,3,3) does not satisfy this criterion.

In a pythagoran triplet, a a , b b and c c have to be integers. So this question will have two answers

no they dont and 1.4142 is hypotenuse of 1, 1 and √2 since 1^2+1^2= √2^2=2.
