Let x kg of sugar be sold at profit of 7%. Then (100-x kg) of sugar is sold at profit of 17%
Then according to the given condition,
=>7% profit on x + 17% profit on 100-x = 10% profit 100 kg sugar
=> 1.07x + 1.17(100-x)= 1.1*100
=> 1.07x + 117 - 1.17x = 110
=> 0.1 x = 7
=> x=70
