x=√3+x squaring both sides x²=3+x
x²-x-3=0

Use LATEX, your question will look superb!

x = 3 + x x = \sqrt{3 + x}

Squaring on both sides,

x 2 = 3 + x x^2 = 3 + x

x 2 x 3 = 0 x^2 - x - 3 = 0
