Do You Know Your Months?

If it is October now, then it will be October 12 months from now, 24 months from now, 36 months from now, etc. This pattern continues in such a way that it will be October 96 months from now, leaving 4 more months to make it to 100. This means:

The 97th month will be November, The 98th month will be December, The 99th month will be January, The 100th month will be $\boxed{\text{February}}$ .

My thinking 100=4mod12 hence October + 4 months

If it is October, then 96 months later it would also be October (Why? Because it is a multiple of 12). Then $100 - 96 = 4$ , after 4 months, it would be February

by dividing 100 with 12 we get remainder as 4.so add 4 months to october..it's feb.

Eu somei 120 meses, subtrai 12........... Deu 108 = outubro.......... Subtrai mais 8, deu fevereiro!!!
