Tom finds that his $ 35 \$35 will buy exactly 19 19 pounds of bananas and 5 5 pounds of oranges. It would also buy him 6 6 pounds of bananas and 20 20 pounds of oranges. How much more than $ 35 \$35 would 25 25 pounds of each fruit cost?

Simply add the 2 equations....you have the cost of 25 pounds of each...which comes out to be 70$... Thus it is 35$ over and above 35$....well the framing of my solution is not that good. :(
