Classical Mechanics Level pending

A thin ring has radius R density® young's modulus Y. The ring is rotated in its own plane about an axis passing through its centre with angular velocity W . Then the small.change in radius is-
R=3
®=1
W=2
Y=4
all in there respective SI units


The answer is 27.

take an elemental point on the ring find force on it due o it's rotation find tension dividin the force by 2*pi now use elasticity equation you get the answer as 27 !
