Tourist tour

There is a museum, with a $3\times 3\times 3$ cube shape. Tom, a Hungarian tourist is staying in the middle cube of the museum. He wants to visit everything, however he doesn't want to be bored, so he wants to visit each cube excatly once. He can only go from one cube to an other, if they share a square face.

Can Tom accomplish his plan?

Note : He doesn't have to visit the middle room again. I Tom can accomplish his plan, then it doesn't matter, where he finishes his tour.
