Equation of a circle on cartessian plane is given by:- ( x 2 ) 2 + ( y 3 ) 2 = 9 (x-2)^2 + (y-3)^{2} = -9 Find out the radius of circle

It is impossible to plote it on cartessian plane 9 -3 3

it is never become a negative ( r = 3i) , so It is impossible to plote it on cartessian plane

A circle is in the form of...

( x k ) 2 + ( y h ) 2 = r 2 (x-k)^{2} +(y-h)^{2}=r^{2}

Where the k horizontally moves the circle and h vertically moves the circle. The other side of the equation is the radius squared (thus r 2 r^{2} ). So in this equation...

( x 2 ) 2 + ( y 3 ) 2 = 9 (x-2)^{2} +(y-3)^{2}=-9

k = 2 k=2

h = 3 h=3

r 2 = 9 r^{2}=-9

r = 9 r=\sqrt{-9}

r = 3 i r=3i

We can graph this on a complex plane, but we cannot graph it on the Cartesian Plane as mentioned. Thus the answer is It is impossible to plote it on cartessian plane

BTW the answer has two spelling errors which are plote and cartessian

( x 2 ) 2 + ( x 3 ) 2 (x-2)^2+(x-3)^2 are positive if x , y ϵ R x,y \epsilon R therefore is impossible get 9 -9 as r 2 r^2 because will be r = 3 i r=3i

the rule : (x-x1 ) power 2 + (y- y1) power 2 = (radius ) power 2 so no answer under power 2 give us negative solution
