40 kg = 1 % = 0.4 --> Miscalculation amount 0.8 so, 04+04=0.8 so 2 %

Error percentage = Error Original amount × 100 % \dfrac{\text{Error}}{\text{Original amount}}\times100\%

Error percentage = 40.8 40 40 × 100 % \dfrac{40.8-40}{40}\times100\%

Error percentage = 0.8 40 × 100 % \dfrac{0.8}{40}\times100\% = 80 40 % \dfrac{80}{40}\% = 2 % \boxed{2\%}

In my opinion, this should be an Algebra problem instead of Classical Mechanics.

ERROR = ( 40.8 - 40 )/40 = 0.02X100 = 2%

((new-original)/original) 100 ((40.8-40)/40) 100 (0.8/40) 100 8/400 100 8/4 2
