Because weekdays repeat every 7 days, we know that 9 days ago is the same day of the week as 2 days ago. So given 9 days ago was a Thursday, we also know that 2 days ago was a Thursday. This means yesterday was Friday, which means today is Saturday.

I know the solution is very easy to find but since i learned the modulo, I will show the answer using it

9 ≡ 2 ( m o d 7 ) 9\equiv 2\quad (mod7) So 2 must be added to get the present day, i.e. thursday+2=Saturday

Just count off 9 days starting from Thursday, i.e., Thursday=0, Friday=1,...,Saturday=9. :)

Hence, Saturday is the answer.

in one week there are seven days he went nine days go after seven days thursday repat hence if we add two day more in thursday this become nine days and after two day of thursday come saturday

This was my method. Much simpler than those who counted out the seven days. The questions would have leaned itself to this method much more if it had said she last went 51 days ago or something similar.

9 days is 1 week and 2 days. Take out the week and add two days to Thursday.

thursday is the 4th day,then add 9 days, it can give you saturday..

1 week(7 days) after Thursday is Thursday. 2 days after would be Saturday. 9 days all in all.

1st day was Thursday.. just keep counting till u go to 9th day .. 9th day will be Saturday

nope..1st full day is friday..thrsday is the starting point of counting but not the 1st day definitely..but yah the correct answer is saturday..:)

9 days passed after a movie so, between same days of week difference will be 7 days :) So, thu to thu 7 days + 2days= fri,sat so, today is SATURDAY
