let the numbers be 7x and 2x

7x-2x=30

5x=30

x=30/5

x=6

7x=42[7 * 6]

2x=12[2 * 6]

42+12=54

The difference between 7 and 2 is 5.

Number difference / Ratio difference = 30/5 =6

7 x 6 = 42

2 x 6 = 12

42 + 12 = 54

number diffrence/ratio difference =5/30 [you wrote 30/5]

it should have been ratio difference /number differnce=30/5

Nope, What I wrote was correct.

Number difference is 30

Ration Difference is 5

Therefore it will be 30/5

You even wrote it in your solution!!!
