the share of a+b is 60 greater than c. let a's share be 7x. then b's share 6x and c's share 12x. we have 12x+60=13x. solving we get x=60. difference between a and c=5x =5*60=300 =ans

A plus B is 60 greater than the value of C. Get the difference of A and C. I get the value of x=60. So, I just need to substitute the x by 60. 12x-7x=5x. "5x" will be 5(60)= 300.
