Rationotical geometry

Geometry Level 3

A cone of height 'h' and radius 'r'was taken and divided into 3 parts of equal height from top to bottom given the ratio of volumes is a:b:c.then a wire of lenght a+b+c+1 was taken and bent into a square.then taking the side of the square as radius of the circle a circle was made.then the ratio of circle's area and square's area was taken out to be x:y .

Find x+y.

Note: Use the approximation π = 22 7 \pi = \frac{22}{7} .

The answer is 29.

First take out the relationship b/w the radii of the fig then the ratios of volume which comes out to be 1:7:19 then the area of square is 49 so the area of circle is 22 x 7 on taking the ratio it comes to be 7:22 On adding 22+7={29}

Let the side of square be x (bcuz the values are not actually needed). Now its area= x 2 x^{2}

Now radius of circle = x

So area of circle = pie * x 2 ] x^{2}]

Now ratio:- Area circle/ area square = 22/7

Thereby a=22 and b=7 ....so a+b = 29 \boxed{29}
