For a capacitor,

i = C d V d t i = C \frac{dV}{dt}

In DC steady state, d V d t \frac{dV}{dt} is zero by definition, so the current through the capacitor must also be zero.

@Steven Chase Hello ,hope you are doing well..
I am going to start my own business .
And the business is making electric cars .
So basically I am going to open my own electric car making company.
But I am confused with logo ,what should be the logo of my company ?
I thought I should use your green spring logo which you have posted in your notes (about my profile image ). But that logo is not much symmetric and dynamic also .
Can you suggest me some ???

Hello. Since it is your company, you should pick the logo. When you decide what you want, I recommend that you hire a professional graphic artist to make it for you. All you have to do is provide the concept to the artist.

At steady state , current through capacitor becomes zero due to 0 potential difference between battery and capacitor at steady state. Therefore, current through whole branch becomes zero .
