For all real numbers b and c such that the product of c and 3 is b, what represents the sum of c and 3 in terms of b?

First let us set up the equation we are told- that the product oc and 3 is b: 3c=b Now we must isolate c so we can add it's value to 3: 3c=b We can now put three into 3 over b: c= b 3 \frac{b}{3} Finally let us add this value to three: b 3 \frac{b}{3} +3 Therefore our final answer is: b 3 \frac{b}{3} +3
