See 143 has 3 as the last digit so if we multiply anything to it. Like --> 143×2=286, 143×3=429. So if we just multiply the no. to 3 wee will get the last digit. So closest no. is 3×3 or 3×33..... to 10,100,1000...... 3×3=9 when divided from 10 we get remainder 1. Like in all cases we will get the remainder as 1 only.
