Baffling Divisor

Two numbers when divided by a certain divisor give remainders 473 \large473 and 298 \large298 , respectively. When their sum is divided by the same divisor, the remainder is 236 \large236 . Find the divisor.

473+298= 771

771-298 = 535

This means the number divides 535 but is greater than 473...

So the only choice: 535 \boxed{535}
