The correct retreat move is Ba4 so that the bishop is still on the a4-e8 diagonal and in line with the black's knight on c6. Bd3 blocks the Queen pawn and Bf1 returns the bishop on its original position which is not a good move. Ba4 is one of the variations in the Ruy Lopez opening.
