There was no "Decimals Ok" below the answer box, so x = ky where 'k' is some integer.On substituting we get an equation in k and y.
Setting y = 1 we get , 3 = k k 2 − 8
we can observe that 'k' is 3.
But this is a shabby and crooked way to do it.Hope someone posts a good solution.
