The bed has four legs on the ground, and you have two legs, simple math 2+4=6 because the other legs don't count bc the other legs are not touching the ground.

and see a bed. = 4 legs

On the bed, there are 2 dogs, 4 cats, a giraffe, 5 cows, and a duck. = 0 legs

There are also 3 chickens flying above the bed. = 0 legs

How many legs are on the floor? 2 + 4 + 0 + 0 = 6 legs
