Riding in cars with boys

You and Mark are riding in a car driven by a friend John. When John takes a right turn at a corner, your sunglasses slide to the left across the dashboard. Mark, who has not taken Physics 101 , 101, says "It is because of the centrifugal force.” Tell Mark the correct reason.

It's because of the gravitational force acting on your sunglasses. Yes, it's because of the centrifugal force. No, it's because of the centripetal force. It's because the car was initially going straight, along with your sunglasses.
