The n t h nth term of an Arithmetic Sequence is given by the formula

a n = a m + ( n m ) d a_n=a_m+(n-m)d

Substitute to solve for d d .

a 9 = a 7 + ( 9 7 ) d a_9=a_7+(9-7)d

19 = 15 + ( 2 ) ( d ) 19=15+(2)(d)

d = 2 d=2

So the 12 t h 12th term is

a 12 = a 9 + ( 12 9 ) ( 2 ) a_{12}=a_9+(12-9)(2)

a 12 = 19 + ( 3 ) ( 2 ) a_{12}=19+(3)(2)

a 12 = 25 \boxed{a_{12}=25}
