Rough graphing would do the needful.

Cases and subcases to be considered-----

Case-1 : x>0 

          Subcase(a):  2-x>0
          Subcase(b):  2-x<0

Case-2: x<0 

                 Subcase (a): 2+x>0
                 Subcase (b): 2+x<0

From each subcase you'll get one solution

Your expressions don't seem clear but 0 counter against upvote explains it all :) .You may you use a graphing calculator. Sry for LOL( lack of LaTeX) their were some technical issues.
