Round and Round again

Draigg the Donkey is pushing the millstone.

For each one of the times he completed a round, he

  1. breaks each grain into 3 broken pieces;

  2. breaks each broken piece into 5 small pieces; and

  3. breaks each small piece into 7 bits of flour.

Flours fall out of the millstone the next round after it's formed.

If 10 grains are added to the millstone in the first round, 20 grains are added in the second, 30 in the third and so on,

how many small pieces of grains will there be in the millstone at the end of 5 rounds?

The answer is 600.

Each object stays in it's state for only one round, so the number is considered not cumulative.

Since we are looking for the amount of the small pieces, we can look at the amount of broken pieces the round before.

There will be 40 grains added to the millstone in the fourth round, and will turn into 120 broken pieces at the end of the fourth round.

By the end of the fifth round, the 120 broken pieces will be broke into 600 \boxed{600} small pieces.
