A man is running on the road on a frictional road without slipping. Here we know that work done by the friction onto man in moving him forward is zero as displacement of his foot wrt riad is zero(static friction). So which force is doing work in moving the man forward?

normal reaction force surrounding environment(air) muscular force

Its very high level physics internal muscular force of body is doing work .....as friction is applying force in forward direction so by 3rd law of motion same amt. Of force will be applied on foot muscles and they do displacement resulting in occuring of work.
