ð§ð ðð¢ Sara used to walk to school every morning, and it takes 20 minutes to reach there. Once on her way she realized that she had forgotten her activity at home. She knew that if she continued walking, she would be there 8 minutes before the bell, so she went home back for taking the activity and arrived school 10 minutes late. If she walked all the way her normal speed, what fraction of the way to school she had covered when at that moment when she turned back?

Normal time taken to reach to school = 20 minutes margin = 8 minutes total time = 28 minutes She got 10 minutes late therefore total time used = 38 minutes let us that the distance when she realised that she forgot her activity is d, then, She covered 2d in 18 minutes as 38 - 20 minutes= 18 minutes therfore d = 9 So 9/20 is the right answer
