One pico second is 1 0 − 12 10^{-12} of a second. So, 3.0 × 1 0 8 1 0 12 = 3 E − 4 , 3 E − 4 × 1 0 2 = 3 E − 2 m \frac{3.0\times 10^8}{10^{12}}=3E-4,3E-4\times 10^2=3E-2 m
