Given
P (x)=p(x+1.5) So, p (5)=p (6.5) Substituting 6.5 as x p (6.5)=p (8) p (5)=p (8) Similarly p (8)=p (11)=p (5) Hence we see the p (5)=p (every no. Obtained by adding multiple of three to 5) p (5)=p (2408)=2408

p(x) = p(x+ 3/2 * k) where k is any integer, whether positive or negative. If x=5, then we have p(5) = p(5 + 3/2 k ). It is easy to see that 5 + 3/2 k = 2408 gives 3/2 k = 2403 such that k is a whole number. Hence p(2408) = p(5) = 2408.
