Stephen and George will always be friends because that green statement can only be true and nothing but the truth.

TRUTH TABLE : CONDITIONAL / PROPOSITIONAL

Green? Friends? If G, then F?
TRUE TRUE TRUE
TRUE FALSE FALSE
FALSE TRUE TRUE
FALSE FALSE TRUE

The only instance when BOTH "Green" AND "if Green then Friends" have matching truth values is in the first row under the headers in which all three are TRUE.
