c u r r e n t t e r m = ( p r e v i o u s t e r m ) 2 − 2 current term = (previous term)^{2} - 2

7 = 3 2 − 2 7 = 3^{2} - 2

47 = 7 2 − 2 47 = 7^{2} - 2

2207 = 4 7 2 − 2 2207 = 47^{2} - 2

Thus the answer:
